Started this gem some months ago, been busy a lot but finally completed it today. Literally left me shook. It’s an amazing book from the start till end and not for a second you’ll get bored once you start reading it. So, find a decent place to sit and start it right away.
The story begins with a Spanish shepherd boy dreaming about finding treasure near pyramids in Egypt. He believes in the dream and goes on to pursue it. On his way to fulfill his dream, he encounters different people, an old king, a merchant, a gypsy, an Englishman, an alchemist and a woman. He also learns the secrets of universe and his relationship with God.
This book can teach one a lot about the meaning of life and how omens work and how one should never stop pursuing their dreams. If you like looking deep into the meanings of life, it’s a perfect book for you.
